Biographical

Mitchell Rose is a Chartered Mediator and Settlement Counsel (Dispute Resolution Lawyer). He has been a mediator since 2007 and a civil litigator since 1995. He is dedicated to the art of settlement. His expertise in, and passion for, delivering practical solutions helps clients avoid excessive legal costs and end conflict.  As a neutral, Mitchell provides mediation, mediation-arbitration and settlement counsel services (both in-person and online) throughout Ontario for a wide range of civil disputes with a focus on employment law, neighbour / boundary disputes and business conflicts. 

An e-book author of 40 Mediation Advocacy Tips for Ontario Lawyers,  he has also published articles in various law journals and business publications. Mitchell is a frequent speaker for various professional organizations on employment law and alternative dispute resolution topics. He also volunteers as a coach for law students and aspiring mediators.

Rates Information

$1,800.00 (plus HST) for a two-party, half-day virtual mediation, and $3,400.00 (plus HST) for a two-party, full-day virtual mediation when booked in advance. The price also includes a pre-mediation conference call, one hour of preparation, and  up to one 1/2 hour of post-mediation follow-up (if required). Additional time and parties are extra, as is travel outside of the GTA. Evening and weekend mediations are available on request. Note: Virtual mediations conducted by videoconference are on the Zoom platform unless otherwise directed at the time of booking. Use of other platforms is accommodated.
