Scott Snider received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and History from the University of British Columbia in 1989. Until 2001, Scott worked for the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia. During his eleven years there he managed a large and complex caseload of litigated personal injury claims. Scott worked closely with both plaintiff and defense counsel to maintain an effective working relationship to negotiate the settlement of thousands of bodily injury matters. In 2001, in addition to running his own Independent Adjuster firm (2001-2006), Scott completed the Continuing Legal Education Advanced Civil Mediation course; he subsequently completed the Canadian Dispute Resolution Corporation’s Personal Injury Mediation Practicum. He has participated during hundreds of hours of successful mediation, including complex multi party cases, over the past ten years and been a member in good standing with Mediate B.C. since 2001. Scott is a huge proponent of mediation and its benefits to all parties involved. He has directed his attention toward building a full time mediation practice since 2001. Scott enjoys residing in West Vancouver with his family and is active in his community. Scott is an avid golfer, skier, an tennis player who enjoys traveling when he has the opportunity.
