Mike is a formally trained mediator and arbitrator with an extensive educational background in Alternative Dispute Resolution. He has his Chartered Designations in both mediation and arbitration representing the highest credentials available in Canada.
ADR is an unregulated field. Anyone can label him or herself as a “mediator” or “arbitrator but few have taken formal training in ADR. Mike has extensive experience with a broad array of disputes with particular interest in the following subject areas:
- Corporate and Commercial disputes
- Construction
- Personal Injury
- Family Law and Estate Litigation
- Employment Law
- Professional Liability and Malpractice
Mike was a former member of the Assurance Fund Adjudications (Finance) Committee and the Conduct Committee at the Law Society of Alberta. Mike is a former executive member of the Board of Directors of the ADR Institute of Alberta.
